Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the property of Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd.
2. WINNERS SELECTION: The entries are judged based on their relevance to the Oakwood Neighborhood concept, authenticity, creativity and, for video entries, overall technical quality. Shortlisted entries will be selected and published on the app and/or website.
Share Secrets Contest: Winners will be drawn each month, throughout the duration of the contest from September 2011 – March 2012, from shortlisted entries to win prizes of complimentary nights stays at participating Oakwood serviced apartments in Asia Pacific. Entries not successful in the draw from previous draws will be entered into the following draws and so forth. Winners will be notified by email and have 15 days to claim their prize. Failure to claim prizes within 15 days will result in disqualification and a new winner will be selected. Prizes for complimentary nights may not be exchanged for cash. Choice of accommodation at specific Oakwood serviced apartments locations will be subject to availability.
Video Contest: The video content has to be about something in the neighborhood of an Oakwood Asia Pacific property (visit www.oakwoodasia.com to find out more about our locations). Valid submission of entries will take place from September 15 , 2011 – March 31, 2012. Shortlisted entries will be evaluated by an internal panel of judges. Winners will be announced in April 2012. There will be one grand prize winner for an iPad2 and four consolation prize winners of iPod Touch devices. Winners will be notified via email and have 15 days to claim their prize. Failure to claim prizes within 15 days will result in disqualification and a new winner will be selected. Prizes for may not be exchanged for cash. Prizes will be sent to the country in which the winner resides (or has indicated it to be sent). Courier charges will be borne by Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd. All other fees and charges, should they occur, are to be borne by the winner.
3. ELIGIBILITY: Except otherwise prohibited herein or by applicable law, the Contests is open to any person who is eighteen (18) years of age or older. The Video Contest is open to employees of Oakwood Asia Pacific.
4. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules, which are final on all matters pertaining to this Contest. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd. and its advertising and promotional agencies to use winners' names and likeness' for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Competition or any prize won. Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd. will not replace any lost or stolen prize items once out of Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd.’s possession.
